About Lee Mallon
“One day a week I’d sit at a café, eat something good, and write about AI. That was it.”
I’m Lee Mallon, an AI lead and an engineer for 25 years. I’ve started and run several businesses, and today my work spans YALPOP, my podcast The AI Shift and Rarely Impossible, my privacy-first app studio.
I wrote Dynamic Knowledge Rendering (DKR) and I’m writing my next book, HALO. I’ve worked and travelled all over the world, trained more than 2,500 people in AI, and I use this technology around 16 hours a day, 7 days a week.
AI with Breakfast started with that one line above. Then came a side series, Building with AI before breakfast: pick a tiny idea, give it the time it takes to eat breakfast, and see if anything ships. The Academy is where all of it comes together.
